The following section presents information on another useful method that deals with apply handlers.

apply_alter Procedure

This is a procedure that is useful for setting or unsetting the Apply handlers. It can set or unset the positive or negative rule sets. When the DBA wishes to change or assign a new rule set, this procedure will be useful.  Figure 5.6 shows the arguments.
