List of
Values
This is used in both reports and tabular forms.
In reports this is used when the Display As attribute is set to
Display as Text, based on LOV. When that Display As type is used, the
LOV information is defined in this region. Using LOV’s is explained
in more detail in the section on Select Lists.
Column Link
This was described in detail, but there was no
explanation on how to create a column link for a text column.
Assuming about the focus is still on page 11 in the Conference RSVP
application, the only thing that would be changed from the link
discussion earlier is to change the Link Text. In this case, the Link
Text will be set to #LAST_NAME#. Figure 7.19 shows what the link
would look like for a link on the Last Name column. For further
information, refer to the discussion earlier in the chapter.
Many documents pertaining to HTML DB reports talk
about drill down reports. This is how drill down reports are
created. If the developer has a series of reports, they would create
links to navigate to each of the reports as shown here.
Authorization and Conditional Displayare covered in several other places in the book. These
apply here as well, except here it refers to the report column.
